Online Jeep Safari Booking Procedure:
While planning for a Corbett wildlife safari, it is highly recommended to book the safari in the preferred slot in advance. Indian nationals are advised to inform us 30 days in advance of their visit, while foreign nationals should notify us 90 days ahead. This allows for easier booking of preferred safari zones, though all zones are well-populated with wildlife, and sightings are generally consistent across the park. The jeep safari price also differs for Indian and foreign tourists.
Jim Corbett National Park offers both Jeep and Canter Safaris, providing a fantastic way to experience the park’s natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy activities such as bird watching and nature safaris in addition to the exciting Jeep and Canter rides through Corbett’s jungles. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a tiger! Please note that the Jeep safaris are functional in Bijrai, Jhirna, Dhela, Garjiya, Durgadevi, Phato, Sitabani and Bhandarpani Zones. They are not operated in the Dhikala zone where the option for Canter Safari is available. Jeep safaris in Corbett National Park are available in the morning and evening shifts for about 3 hours.
Booking Procedure:
- To book safari we require written request including all visitor's full name, age, and gender would be going for Corbett Jeep Safari.
- We need an identification proof. ID Proof: DL Number, PAN Card Number, Voter ID, Passport Number, Student ID for each online permit.
- These ID required to be submitted before safari and please carry original same Id at the time of safari.
- Please mention dates of drives including morning and afternoon information along with the type of vehicle required i.e. jeep.
- All vehicles will remain subject to availability until the drive.
- Every morning & evening 30 - 30 jeep safari are allowed to travel into various forest zones.
Corbett Tiger Reserve has been divided into 8 mutually exclusive eco-tourism zones each having a separate gate for entry.
- Limited numbers of safari vehicles are allowed inside the zones, both in the morning and evening shifts.
- The day visits to all the zones are strictly regulated as per the mentioned time slots.
- Tourists can avail permits of day visit to all the zones in our website.
- It I advisable to familiarize with the upcoming safari time slot and arrive early at the gate accordingly to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
- Designated Jeeps and Canters are registered with Corbett Tiger Reserves and are allowed for safari purposes in Corbett. Entry of private vehicles strictly prohibited for safari purposes.
- The permission to avail canter safari is only allowed for Dhikala Safari Zone.
- Canteen facilities are available in the Dhikala, Bijrani and Garjiya Zones and on other locations visitors can avail kitchen facilities.
